Abstract

A boarding school is a school at which most or all of the students live during the part of
the year that they go to lessons. The presence of boarding school has provided education
lternative for parents who want to send their children.Of the many boarding schools in
Indonesia, there are three pattern that is patterned the religious, nationalist-religious, and there
were nationalist. All Schools Officials in Indonesia wear pattern Boarding School.
There are several advantages Boarding School when compared with the corresponding
regular school people understand, namely: 1. the perfect school Program, 2. Twenty-four Hour
Care, 3. Facilities and Enabling Environment Conditions, and 4 Qualified Teachers and
Caregivers.WhileMain Issues With The System Official Boarding School is 1. Teachers
Dichotomy Caregiver, 2. Curriculum of Parenting Not Standard andWeak Control System.
The concept of boarding schools need a comprehensive approach, particularly in
understanding the learners. Boarding school is not enough just to provide academic facilities
and adequate lodging facility for students, but also provide teachers who replace the role of
parents in the formation of character and characters.
