SUB DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENT IN JAMBI CITY, JAMBI PROVINCE

The Research on sub-district administrative Arrangement in the City of Jambi-Jambi Province aims to analyse
the ability level of the region, especially in 7 (seven) Kelurahan (Sub-Urban Area) in the City of Jambi in
encouraging the success of democratization, development and public services as well as understanding public
aspirations about the possibility of regional development and its expansion. This study applies an approach that
bringing the characteristics of the application of measurement and evaluation models to measure the ability of
the region in these following areas: Kenali Besar, Penyengat Bawah, Bagan Pete, Mayang Mengurai, Kenali
Asam Bawah, Talang Bakung and Eka Jaya. This article accordingly will describe and explain how the strength
or influence of the observed variables on the successful implementation of regional autonomy policies, especially
in the development or administrative restructuration.
