Abstract

This study aims to determine a map of knowledge in the field of earth science which consists of the productivity of the author, the collaboration of the author, and the development of knowledge in the field of Earth science in scientific publications indexed Scopus by LIPI researchers in the 2011-2020 period. The method used in this research is a quantitative paradigm with a bibliometric approach. The bibliometric analysis used is author productivity analysis, co-authorship analysis, and co-word analysis using the VOSviewer and Tableau applications. The results showed that the author's productivity by producing at least 10 documents was produced by 8 authors. The most productive author is Natawidjaja with the category of continuous productivity. Several collaborations were carried out by writers, both between LIPI writers and with writers outside LIPI. The number of authors or researchers from LIPI who collaborated and were recorded as the first authors were still small in number when compared to authors outside LIPI. Trending topics for the 2011-2013 period are disasters (faults). Trending topics for the 2014-2017 period are disasters (plate movements, earthquakes, tsunamis), geomorphology, waters and surface water, sea and seawater, and oceanic continent plates. Trending topics for the 2018-2020 period are biodiversity, climate change, waters and surface water (water quality), minerals (heavy metals), and soil topics (soil conservation, revegetation, and bioremediation). There are still a few topics that are recommended as future research topics such as climate and atmosphere (sudden climate change), disasters (drought), geomorphology (erosion), Minerals and rocks (coal), environmental pollution (river pollution), Conservation of natural resources (fuel fossil), and coastal zone management.
