PEMANFAATAN WEBSITE SEBAGAI BENTUK DIGITALISASI PELAYANAN PUBLIK UNTUK MEWUJUDKAN TRANSPARANSI DI DINAS SOSIAL PROVINSI SUMATERA UTARA DAN PEMANFAATAN DIGITALISASI PADA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

The North Sumatra Provincial Social Service uses the website as a form of digitizing public
services. However, in its use, there is still information sharing that cannot be accessed by the
public due to the error menu feature, besides that social media owned by the North Sumatra
Provincial Social Service is considered to be still less active in disseminating existing
information and is still less interactive. with society. After the research conducted, it turns
out that there are many factors that cause this problem to arise. The purpose of this study
was to find out and provide an overview of the use of the website to provide services to the
community at the Social Service of North Sumatra Province. This research is a qualitative
descriptive study. Utilization of the website has not been supported by the three elements of
digitizing public services in the implementation of e-government. In addition, the utilization
of the website has not been supported by adequate human resource capabilities, the
information presentation of the website has not provided sufficient updated information. The
conclusion of the research is that the use of the website as a form of digitizing public
services in the social service of the North Sumatra Province has been carried out well but
still needs to improve the availability of infrastructure and increase the capacity and skills of
human resources, especially in managing the social service site of the North Sumatra
Province.
